Professional Career

 

■ Teaching several courses to graduate students at the Institute of Environmental Studies and Research at Sadat City University, the Faculty of Science in Damietta, the Faculty of Science at Alexandria University, the Faculty of Science at Suez University, and the Faculty of Agriculture in Damanhur.

■ Presenting several lectures and training courses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

■ Former head of the Natural Resources Evaluation and Development Planning Department (2020-2021).

■ Contribution in Egyptian experts reviewing of Egypt’s strategy 2030 in the environment sector (air pollution).

■ Consultant at the United Nations for the UNIDO Cleaner Production Project, (2016-2017).

■ Providing many consultations related to measurements of air pollutants and preparing EIA studies for more than 300 companies and organizations in several governorates such as Alexandria, Cairo, Beheira, Menoufia, Gharbia, Suez, Port Said, Matrouh, and many industrial cities such as Borg El Arab Industrial City, 6th October Industrial City, and Sadat Industrial City. And also outside Egypt.

■ Director of the Public Service Center, Institute of Environmental Studies and Research, University of Sadat City (2006 – 2010).

■ Participation in the research team of the project to monitor air pollutants in Alexandria and the Central Delta of EEAA (funded from DANIDA), (1999 – 2002).

■ Participation in two projects with NARP at the Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University.

■ He worked as a consultant to the former Minister of Environment, Dr. Nadia Makram Ebeid in Alexandria and Mansoura branches.

■ Recipient of the Young Scientists Award in the field of environment from UNESCO (1997-1998).

■ Received an award from scientific research, (2000).
